About the Artist 艺术家简介
余斯福,字仲甫,1962年从新加坡南洋美专毕业,是名家施香沱的入室弟子。马来西亚艺术学院资深讲师。曾任马来西亚书艺协会会务顾问、马来西亚华人文化协会署理总会长、纽约诗画琴棋会(书法、绘画艺术)海外顾问、南洋美专(马)校友会副会长,及新纪元学院实美术及设计系名誉顾问。举办过二十回金石书画个展、八次师生展,并积极参与多场海内外书画大展,如马来西亚、新加坡、台湾、中国大陆、韩国、日本、荷兰及美国。 2017年,荣幸成为马来西亚华人文化协会 - 第八届〈文化奖〉得奖人。作品收藏于台湾省立美术馆、韩国大邱美术馆、澳洲驻马最高专员署、韩国东方研书会、马来西亚艺术学院、新加坡中华书学协会、台湾中国书法学会、日本每日书道会。
Graduated from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Art in 1962, Yee Sze Fook taught at the Malaysian Institute of Arts for nearly two decades. He was the deputy president of the Malaysian Chinese Cultural Society and the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts Alumni Association in Malaysia; and a consultant for the Calligraphy Society of Malaysia, Chinese Calligraphy and Stone Inscription Gallery, and New York Painting and Calligraphy Club. Yee exhibited in Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, China, South Korea, Japan, the Netherlands, and the USA. His pieces are collected by the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts, Daegu Art Museum (South Korea), Australian High Commission (Malaysia), Chinese Calligraphy Society (Taiwan), and Mainichi Shodo Association (Japan).
